I interviewed State Senator M. Teresa Ruiz and Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., with my colleague Brad Preston this morning at our Newark Thanksgiving distribution. It was interesting to hear their perspectives on our partnership and how to reduce food insecurity. My incredible team distributed 3,900 turkeys and chickens and over 2,000 boxes of holiday sides to 41 pantries today. Hunger is solvable.
